All the knifes are serrated in order that they tear up tomatoes,etc. Not sharp, no longer sure what they're just right for , perhaps sawing via very difficult minimizes of meat? Cannot chop or mince with these.

I assume they were on sale at the time for 79.99. I beloved this set, to start with. They have been sharp and did the job. After a few month the knives began to rust just a little. I endured to use them until this morning....I took them out of the dishwasher & the rust was once in each single location the blades and the deal withs. I found my receipt (2 months later thank just rightness I nonetheless had it) and went back to Sears. I didn't have the field however they did take them again. I requested if there have been every other returns on these knives and naturally she stated no. So here I am on the lookout for new knives and at all the evaluates. Then I saw this same set I just back. I had to give my two cents and maybe retailer any person from getting a headache.

It's already exhibiting rust stains, and just does not reduce that smartly. It's frustrating, because the set "looks" beautiful, but it just would not deliver. Unfortunately I threw away the field and receipt, so most probably do now not need any hope of returning them. As a last ditch effort, I more than likely will see if they work any better if I can get them sharpened, however considering the fact that they are all serrated, I doubt it.
